So sad that this is the world we live in today

I understand why they are doing it. But it's just sad.

The staff will be required to enter each room at least once per day. It all stems from the LV shooting.

They better knock to make sure you're decent or I can see lawsuits. You could be banging your girl......I can see this going bad fast.

I heard Vegas is the same way now, can anyone confirm?

No way, not that I know of. They aren't doing that in Reno. Who wants to be out all night to have housekeeping knocking at your door every hour

I don't think its the worst policy if they knock on your door once a day. I was in a hotel for a month and used that sign most days but I wouldn't mind if they come in and don't actually clean. I just wanted to avoid daily tips lol

Thanks man, had no idea what this was about. Wouldn’t really bother me at Disney World but as mentioned when I crawl into bed at 6AM in Vegas wouldn’t like the knocking at 11AM.

Most people who go to Disney resorts are going with families and will be at parks or pools...therefore, not affected

Small children require naps every day back at the resort. When I was there last month with my son, we used the do not disturb sign almost daily because house cleaning would come around just as he was taking his nap each day

I have no problem with that policy, entering the room at least once every 24 hours.

They will allow "occupied " signs, still respecting your privacy as long as they can still enter your room at some point in time.

VERY SAD NEWS! !!

I think if Vegas starts doing this, it will surely hurt business in some way. Whatever happened to the idea that we "don't let terrorist stop us from living our life".. I understand he was not the typical terrorist but mentally deranged, which amounts to about the same thing.

Every day? Mine slept in the stroller at the parks or at the pool...of course, we never go when it’s hot either
